We are searching for an energetic and imaginative Teacher of Drama / Performing Arts to join a school in Nottingham, delivering engaging lessons that develop performance skills, collaboration, and creative expression across key stages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teacher of Drama / Performing Arts who can inspire students to explore character, storytelling, and theatrical techniques in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Teacher of Drama / Performing Arts - The Role:
* Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in drama and performing arts
* Develop pupils’ acting, movement, voice, and improvisation skills
* Encourage teamwork, confidence, and creative risk-taking
* Direct school productions and performance projects
* Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
What You’ll Bring:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in drama and performance practices
* Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
* Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
