Position Details
We are offering 1 fixed-term post until June 2027, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Role Overview
This role is a key part of a project supporting HSCPs’ Primary Care Improvement Plans and the broader transformational agenda in General Practice. It is aligned with the GP Re-provisioning Programme, which involves migrating over 200 GP clinical systems to new, cloud-hosted software.
We are seeking an experienced Prescribing Support Technician to work with the Programme Team, GP practices, and HSCP staff within the Board. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, be proficient with datasets, data analysis, and Microsoft Office software. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, planning, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The position offers flexibility, with a mix of office, practice-based, and home working.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of new digital systems within Primary Care.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance integrated health and social care services.
* Contribute to the transformational agenda through effective use of digital technology.
