9-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid (Watford – 3 days per week in office)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (pro rata)
Im working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to support business decision-making through insightful analysis, strong stakeholder engagement, and high-quality financial reporting.

The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, the Commercial Finance Analyst will play a key role in providing financial insight to operational and non-finance stakeholders. Youll support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping translate financial data into clear, actionable insight.
The role operates on a hybrid basis, with expected attendance in the Watford office three days per week, ensuring strong collaboration with the wider finance and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver timely and accurate commercial and financial analysis to support decision-making
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
* Analyse variances, trends, and key drivers of performance, providing clear commentary
* Assist with the preparation of management reports and stakeholder presentations
* Support the development and maintenance of financial models
* Partner with non-finance teams to improve understanding of financial performance
* Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting

* Experience in a commercial finance, management accounting, or analytical role
* Strong Excel and data analysis skills

* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills
* Progress toward an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
