About the role…
As a Graduate Information Management Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the effective management, governance, and use of information across our design and engineering teams. This position focuses on maintaining information integrity, ensuring accessibility, and meeting compliance with standards such as ISO 19650, while contributing to exciting digital transformation initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about information systems, data management, and digitalisation. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, helping shape how information is managed and shared across projects. This role offers hybrid working out of our Durham office along with office/site visits and remote working.
This role is a September 2026 start.
What a typical day could look like…
Information Management & Assurance
Help maintain accurate, up-to-date information in corporate systems, with a focus on the Common Data Environment (CDE).
Support quality checks, validation, and data cleansing activities.
Ensure compliance with organisational information management policies and standards.
Systems & Tools Support
Provide first-line support for information management systems and tools.
Assist in configuring and optimising the CDE to improve user experience.
Reporting & Analytics
Contribute to dashboards, reports, and metrics that monitor information quality and usage.
Support analysis of data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration & Training
Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate information capture and storage.
Help deliver training and guidance on best practices in information management.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to digitalisation and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve information accessibility.
About you…
We’re looking for graduates who are curious, creative, and ready to collaborate to create change and bring fresh perspectives. You’ll bring insights from your education and life experiences, and we’ll empower you to make a real impact.
You should be graduating in 2026 or already graduated from your degree qualification. You’ll be digitally confident, a clear communicator, and able to collaborate with others while also taking initiative. We value organisation, attention to detail, and a desire to keep learning.
