The Role
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our team. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone with a passion for residential architecture and a solid understanding of UK planning regulations. You will be responsible for initial client consultations, planning research, and the development of creative, compliant, and functional concept designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct client consultations to gather project requirements and understand their vision.
* Perform in-depth planning research to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Develop and present concept designs that are both innovative and practical.
* Prepare design documentation and drawings for planning applications.
* Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients throughout the design process.
* Stay current with residential design trends, planning policies, and construction methods.
* Support the broader team in delivering high-quality architectural outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience designing UK residential extensions.
* Part 1 Architecture qualification (or equivalent).
* Strong grasp of architectural design principles and residential construction methods.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
* Excellent knowledge of UK planning and building control regulations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £36,000 per annum
* Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
