The Challenge:
This operational support role is based at RAF Lakenheath, UK, responsible for the security and integrity of systems supporting the active fighter unit. You will work with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) for the F-35 Lightning II, supporting system maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance
* Travel for military deployments/detachments as needed
* Work various shifts, including weekends
* Complete pre-employment medical exams for deployment capability
A Day in the Life:
As an ALIS Administrator, you will handle system administration, data management, network support, and mission planning. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and perform various administrative tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
* Secret security clearance within the last 6 years
* Ability to obtain DoD IAT Level II certification within 60 days
* IT experience in system/database/network administration
* Minimum of 2 years ALIS experience
Desired Skills:
* International IT/Engineering work experience
* Military aviation experience
* Web application troubleshooting
* JBOSS (WildFly) familiarity
* Experience with Active Directory, Oracle, CRM
* Disaster recovery knowledge
* Virtual Machine Management (Hyper-V, VMware)
* System hardware maintenance and upgrades
* Security updates and patches
* Splunk log analysis
* Red Hat Linux administration
* Oracle patching and DBA skills
* Experience with Lockheed Martin products and processes
Security Clearance:
This position requires a US Citizen with a Secret clearance and recent investigation.
