Overview
Music Teacher – Teaching Personnel is working with a Secondary School in Old Trafford seeking a Music Teacher to join after the October Half Term on a long-term temporary basis until the end of the academic year (July 2025). This is a full-time role, hours 8:15am – 3:15pm.
The school has a welcoming staff environment. The department is supportive and welcomes an additional member on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* The position has various responsibilities and applicants should anticipate a working relationship with the department to discuss lesson structures to ensure the highest outcomes for KS3 students.
* There are limited marking and lesson planning expectations for this role; some prior experience and a strong grasp of relevant subject material and current curriculum are expected.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (Music)
* Experience delivering lessons or work to KS3 and KS4 students would be ideal
* Outgoing and confident in ability to build relationships with students
* Ability to start after the October half term holiday and hit the ground running (some level of flexibility)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
