Previous experience in mapping business process flows is desirable but not essential as training will be offered to the successful candidate.
There are two roles available, one for Kent and one for Essex.

1. Information Gathering and Analysis - Gathering and Analysing information to support decision making
2. Information Management and Technology - Experience of analysing information from different computer data sources
3. Research Techniques - Working with different teams to complete research
4. Research Techniques - Writing and presenting reports on issues of strategic importance to senior leaders
5. Information Recording, Retention and Deletion Policy and Processes for Police information
6. Force-level strategic policing issues and processes
7. Experience of using IT products to record information
8. Business Analyst Qualifications or experience
The role will be primarily Agile home worker based, with some travel potentially required between Kent and Essex for meetings which will be covered by force mileage.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £47,505.00.
Kent Police and Essex Police have separate salary grading systems therefore the salary for this position will be dependent on which home office force you are appointed to. This will be discussed with the successful applicant before a final offer is made.
