We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Flint, Wales. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities, minimizing downtime, and supporting production processes.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to reduce operational disruptions.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
* Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of equipment and systems.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
* Ensure the safe handling of tools, chemicals, and machinery, adhering to health and safety protocols.
