Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant based at University Hospital Ayr.
What You Will Do
You will be part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in food preparation, delivery, service, and wash-up cleaning duties related to catering services for Patients, Staff, Visitors, and functions. Main duties will be within the Staff dining room.
Knowledge, Training, and Experience Required
* Be physically fit to meet the physical demands of the job
* Have good communication and customer care skills
* Have standard grade English and Arithmetic or equivalent
* Experience of working in large-scale catering
* Ability to work hygienically regarding all aspects of food handling
* Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and adaptable
* Proficiency in and knowledge of or willingness to undertake training in health and safety requirements
Hours
20 hours per week, 4 hours between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Must be able to work between 9.00am and 2.30pm.
