Working in the field service team, you will be providing professional and efficient service of Air compressors & ancillary Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing routine and emergency maintenance on a wide range of compressed air equipment.
2. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and ensuring a first-time fix for all but the unfixable equipment issues.
3. Servicing customer equipment to the highest possible standard.
4. Supporting field sales and technical support with knowledge of customer installations, equipment history, and any faults or issues as they arise.
5. Using digital diagnostic tools to identify and rectify electrical and software-based faults.
6. Delivering accurate reporting of activities performed to the service admin and planning team, to ensure customers receive the most accurate and useful information.
7. As part of a on call rota, responding in a timely manner to emergency callouts for critical customers.
8. Handing sales leads across to the sales team to support new equipment sales.
9. Keeping a clean and professional image whilst representing the business – vehicle, attire, working environment, customer equipment.
10. To be aware of and apply Health and Safety regulations and engineering best practices whilst working.

11. A sound mechanical understanding, through qualification or equivalent experience, of at least one of the following technologies:Air/gas compressorsAir/gas purification or distribution systemsAir or fluid pumps, blowers or chillersElectrical diagnostics and wiring on industrial PLCsRefrigerant or desiccant dryer systemsPC-literate.A problem-solving nature, with a hands-on approach.A can-do attitude balanced with an appreciation for safety.The ability to develop strong relationships and exceed customer expectations.A growth mindset – always willing to learn and challenge the status quo.Organised – Has the ability to manage own workload and submit job data on a weekly basis.A full UK driving licence, preferred clean (no endorsements, points or penalties)
