Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role with a soundknowledge of current NI employment legislation and HR best practice. This role may require travel to sites within the UK, so a willingness to travel is essential We are looking for a HR professional with a pro-active and flexible approach to work, who can work under pressure, can identify and resolve issues and has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ideally candidates will be a graduate member of CIPD and have experiencewithinconstruction, manufacturing or similar industry. Main duties will include: Providing a smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding process. Managing employee relations matters in a timely and efficient manner including disciplinary investigations, grievances, absence management and welfare issues. Assisting to devise and deliver a training and development strategy throughout the business. Advise employees and managers on HR policies and related issues ensuring compliance with procedures, legislation and best practice. Contribute to the development, revision and implementation of new policies and procedures. Roll out relevant training on HR policies and procedures to support the development of line manager people skills. Maintain adequate HR records in line with GDPR and quality standards and contribute to reports as required.
