GSL Education are looking for kind and dependable Teaching Assistants to join schools in Barton-upon-Humber starting September 2025.This role is ideal for those who enjoy helping children learn and grow in a busy classroom environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers by helping pupils with their lessons and daily routines. Flexible working options are available, whether you want part-time or full-time hours, short-term or long-term contracts.
Main duties for the Teaching Assistant role:
* Assist pupils with class activities and learning tasks.
* Provide extra help to children who need it.
* Help keep the classroom organised and calm.
* Encourage good behaviour and positive interactions.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to support children’s progress.
What we are looking for:
* A caring and patient approach to working with children.
* Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
* Experience with children or in schools is useful but not essential.
* Eager to learn and follow teacher guidance.
* Must have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply via GSL Education.
