Contract Specialist – Contract Hand-Back & Transitions
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to play a key role in managing contract hand-back and termination activities. The role focuses on ensuring contractual obligations are fully met during contract transitions, supporting a controlled, compliant, and well-governed exit process across multiple contracts.
This position is central to coordinating exit activities, managing risk, and ensuring that all contractual, legal, and technical requirements are satisfied at the point of contract expiry or termination. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and a broad range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate contract hand-back and termination activities across multiple contracts
2. Ensure contractual obligations are met in line with agreed terms, legislation, and best practice
3. Work with internal teams to confirm compliance with contractual, statutory, and lifecycle requirements
4. Develop, maintain, and manage the contract hand-back programme and associated risk register
5. Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigations throughout the exit lifecycle
