Job overview
Come and join our expanding team of MSK physiotherapists based at Chase farm Hospital in the London Borough of Enfield.
We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic B6 physiotherapist to come and join a well-established and friendly MSK physiotherapy service.
We have close links to our acute partners and can refer patients onwards via our Advanced Practitioner (APPs) team when required.
Are you passionate about making a difference to patients? We pride ourselves on integrated working not only within the wider therapy team but also with other health professionals in Secondary and Primary care, local authority and voluntary sectors.
North Mid in the Community has a long history of managing the health needs of the diverse and multi-cultural population of this North London Borough. We are located on the edges of London and have easy access to central London as well as enjoying the benefits of the nearby green belt.
If you have previously applied for the Band 6 MSK post within the last 6 months please do not re-apply.
You need to be able to attend a face to face interview.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for assessing and managing largely GP referrals to the service. The referrals are received via our well-regarded, Self-Referral Portal. This will give you an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical reasoning, diagnostic and treatment skills.
You will be supported by a highly experienced team including 7 APP's. We provide robust and flexible clinical support through meaningful appraisal, regular supervision, protected CPD time and a comprehensive IST.
Working for our organisation
North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system – consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS’s, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.
We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George’s University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
