CMR are working with a large contractor payroll business to help them find an English and Romanian speaking Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer ensures that all activities carried out are in accordance with the processes set within the department. The Compliance Officer will also ensure that the companies due diligence is carried out correctly, giving their clients full transparency and visibility of their compliant supply chain. Duties Registrations Introduce the benefits of our clients to new sub-contractors referred by external clients. Make sure all new sub-contractors are contacted within 24 hours of referral. This is reviewed by the team leader. Sending out the initial registration packs by email/direct from the system. Carry out gap analysis on the data provided by the contractor to ensure compliance in line with our procedures. Reconciling registration documents via our clients system. Checking Right to Work documents, conducting Share Code and ECS checks etc (using government gateway). Approving registration documents for import to Merit (payroll software) and conducting compliance checks. Working closely with Payroll to ensure a smooth transition from worker registration through to payment. Administrative support for ongoing or new projects as directed by Compliance Manager. Ad-hoc administrative support across the company to other departments for further development and growth to suit the companies needs within reason. Compliance & Due Diligence Learning then continuously expanding knowledge of HMRC & CIS legislation as well as increasing knowledge of trades and job titles Ensuring all new clients (and historical clients) have the correct documents on file and are set up on the system correctly. Experience and qualification Previous experience preferred working in administrative/compliance role, full in-house training provided of procedures. Minimum of 1 years customer service experience required. Qualifications/skills Good level of knowledge and skills in general IT Systems, including, Microsoft Word and Excel. 1. Team player with the ability to motivate team members Languages English Mandatory Romanian Mandatory Package Up to £30,000 annual salary, 20 days holiday per year (increasing with service). Monthly KPI Incentive bonuses if achieved. Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Based in Waltham Abbey.
