Building Safety Remediation Lead Salary: £55,500 Location: Kent with hybrid working We’re working with a well established housing provider looking to bring in a Building Safety Remediation Lead to take ownership of key fire safety and remediation programmes across their portfolio. This is a hands on role managing projects from initial assessment through to completion on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the right standard. The role • Lead delivery of fire and building safety remediation works including fire stopping, compartmentation and door replacement • Manage FRAEW and Type 4 findings through to completed works • Oversee consultants and contractors, managing performance, costs and programme delivery • Take ownership of budgets, forecasts and financial reporting • Maintain accurate building safety data in line with Golden Thread requirements • Manage project risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations • Work closely with residents and internal teams to keep communication clear throughout • Manage Section 20 consultations where required What they’re looking for • Experience delivering complex building safety or planned works projects within social housing • Strong contract management experience, ideally JCT or NHF • Solid understanding of Building Regulations, CDM and fire safety requirements • Comfortable managing contractors and holding them to account • Able to produce clear reports and manage project data effectively Why this role You’ll be joining an organisation with a strong track record in the housing sector and a genuine focus on improving the safety and quality of their homes.
