At National Grid, our commitment to a cleaner, greener energy future is powered by the dedication and ingenuity of our people. Join our team as a Performance Reporting Analyst and be a part of something bigger, where your unique skills and passions can make a real difference. Together, we are superpowered.
As a Performance and Reporting Analyst within the Global Capabilities team, you will play a key role in driving initiatives that span all service lines across Enterprise Business Services (EBS), including strategy, service excellence, and controls. You will define and develop meaningful performance metrics, measure and analyse performance across EBS Service Lines, and highlight variances against forecasts and targets. Your insights will directly support strategic decision making, operational planning, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we'd hope to see you at least two days per week but you're welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you.
What You'll Do:
* Metrics & templates: Collaborate with stakeholders to define specific cost, performance, CSAT and risk metrics/KPIs, and report templates for EBS LT/other audiences (e.g., FBR packs), as well as benchmarks
* Performance Tracking: Set and track KPIs for a specific service line in EBS using appropriate data gathering, analytics, and visualization techniques and be proactive in challenging off-target conditions so that appropriate action can be taken.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of performance data by implementing data governance processes and quality assurance measures defined and maintaining single source of truth on key metrics (historical and targets) via maintaining relevant documentation, resolving data issues in collaboration with service lines
* Data Interpretation: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies and translate into actionable insights via a thorough understanding of performance drivers and engagement with Service Lines, escalating key issues as appropriate.
What You'll Have:
* A sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to define meaningful KPIs, track performance, and understand what's driving results.
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data every day.
* Experience with ServiceNow — helpful but not essential, and we can support you to learn it.
* Power BI skills — great to have, but not a requirement.
* Exceptional attention to detail, spotting deviations early and proactively identifying solutions.
* A strong understanding of reporting, data management, and visualisation tools, including Excel and statistical software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders (e.g., through PowerPoint).
* Experience working in large, global, and complex organisations, collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
* An interest in staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in performance reporting and management, bringing forward thinking insight to the role.

What You'll Get:
Up to £57,000– dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
