Job description:
Phoenix Environmental is a small, friendly, and growing waste management business, and we've just opened a new depot in Corby as part of our national expansion. We're offering a great opportunity to be part of the journey right from the start and help shape the future of our operation.
We're looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team at this exciting stage. You'll be working closely with our on-site Transport Manager, handling both healthcare and hazardous waste collections in a well-supported, well-organised environment.
The Role:
* Drive a clean, modern fleet including box trailers, double deckers, curtain siders, and RoRo skips
* Carry outtrailer exchanges and collect wheeled clinical bins from hospitals and healthcare sites
* Transport hazardous waste using curtain siders – ADR essential
* Use Moffett forklifts where required – we'll provide training if needed
* Complete simple digital paperwork via handheld terminals
* Represent Phoenix professionally and with care – we value relationships
What We're Looking For:
* HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
* ADR licence (packages 6.1 / 6.2) required
* Moffett experience or willingness to train
* Fit, dependable, and respectful of customer sites
* A team player with a positive, can-do approach
