Rosedean House Surgery is looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will make autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients registered with our practices. You will have experience within a primary care setting and your high standards of patient care will naturally inspire those you work with.
In addition to standard nursing duties, the ACP role is accountable in conjunction with the lead nurse for the clinical governance of the practice and is designed to provide clinical leadership in the practice, in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients.
You’ll be working with a great local team and will have the support of the wider NHS services leadership team and our support centre teams as well. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including: GPs, practice nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associate, and more.
The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in attitude and behaviour. They will be keen to undertake new ways of working and delivering healthcare, committing to undertaking the professional development required to adapt to changing circumstances.
Responsibilities
* Make autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients registered with the practices as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
* Provide clinical governance alongside the lead nurse to support safe, effective and compliant delivery of services.
* Provide clinical leadership within the practice to support high standards of patient care.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including GPs, practice nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associates, and others.
* Contribute to transforming and modernising pathways of care and facilitate sharing of skills across professional boundaries.
* Demonstrate flexibility and openness to new ways of working and undertake professional development to adapt to changing circumstances.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in a primary care setting.
* Ability to make autonomous clinical decisions with high standards of patient care.
* Experience in clinical governance and providing clinical leadership in a primary care setting (desirable).
* Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances; commitment to ongoing professional development.
