This isn't just maintenance - it's being the technical expert who keeps the nation's deliveries flowing seamlessly.\n\nDrive the success of a cutting-edge automated distribution facility\nShape the future of warehouse automation technology\nEnsure the day to day running of parcel sortation equipmentWhat You'll Do\n\nTHE ENGINEERING CHALLENGE\n\nPerform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery \nPerforming continuous improvement activities on automated equipment\nProvide effective and efficient support to the Engineering Manager, Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Team Coaches, completion of end of shift reports, fault logging and data entry\nIdentify the root cause of automation breakdowns and prioritize corrective actions to meet operational processing requirements\nMonitor equipment performance and improve automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders\nIdentifying and working on Continuous Improvement projects, conception to implementation ownership, for machinery in the distribution centre\nAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a team to achieve common goals\nWorking rotating shift pattern early, lates and nightsTechnical Excellence\n\nOversee complex automated systems including ASRS and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robotics) technology\nImplement best-in-class maintenance strategies to maximize operational efficiency\nPreventative maintenance operations while minimizing equipment downtimeWhat You'll Bring\n\nEssential Experience\n\nElectrical OR mechanical engineering qualifications (minimum Engineering/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)\nHands-on experience maintaining complex automation equipment\nStrong understanding of Health & Safety legislation\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly\nFull UK driving license\nAdaptability and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a teamTechnical Skills\n\nDeep understanding of automation systems\nExperience in automated maintenanceWhat We Offer\n\nVery competitive salary plus shift allowance, weekend uplift and benefits\nProfessional development and growth opportunities\nChance to shape the future of distribution centre operations.Join us in driving innovation and excellence in automated distribution technology.
