Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate safely and effectively, providing comfort and efficiency for our clients. Gas and ASHP.
Overview of the Role:
* Heating Engineer
* Salary – £37,500 - £41,500
* Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days

Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties, Gas and ASHP.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for various tasks.
* Perform plumbing work related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and soldering.
* Assemble components of heating systems according to specifications.
* Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on site, ensuring efficient workflow and communication.
Qualifications
* CCN1
* CENWAT
* Unvented HWSS - advantage.
* Level 3 ASHP - advantage
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
