The role holder will own the complete security service management of a security sub domain by maximising the potential of the security capabilities within that, which form our overall security architecture. The role will include making sure security service management is documented clearly and able to communicate our position for each security domain capability. This will ensure that we are actively pre-empting trends to help shape our future direction by continuously driving improvement to get the very best value to meet business needs from the products and services that we provide. The role will provide analytics and insights to drive the right decisions in both short and long term scenarios by utilising expert security service management knowledge. This role is hybrid (3 days in office) and can be based in any of the following offices: Birmingham/ Bristol/ London/ Manchester/ Glasgow/ Belfast
What You'll Be Doing
1. Implements, develops and maintains security service management performance with analysis and value tracking for our security architecture sub domains as required across the business to continually improve the quality and potential of security solutions
2. Demonstrable level of expertise of service management that may include compliance, standards, risk, threat modelling, metric implementation, and maturity model management
3. Collaborates with both enterprise and solution architects, bringing managed security services to life, sharing knowledge and bringing specific expertise into decision making
4. Supports strategic architecture projects with detailed security service management insight ensuring that solutions consider business outcomes and value
5. Ensures that solutions are tracked and reported with an absolute focus on overarching usability, and the appropriate service wraps are adding value.
6. Creates solution service value patterns and briefing documents that are reusable, repeatable, and transferable
7. Collaborates with business, architectural and technical teams to help ongoing delivery of security service solutions
8. Contributes to roadmaps for security technologies and management processes that align to relevant strategies, policies, standards and practices
9. Supports enterprise architects during vendor selection to help choose vendors that meet business requirement and drive the best value for money
10. Contributes to research including proof of concept and proof of value initiatives
11. Provides security service management information and cyber security guidance to key stakeholders across the BT Group.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience
12. Evidence of service management in large scale complex environments
13. Service evaluation, monitoring and data analysis
14. A background that includes service management ideally with operational/delivery /assessment/etc.
15. Experience of contributing to or producing business cases, gaining approval from stakeholders and ensuring delivery of business benefits
16. Have experience in being a subject matter expert in a technology field
17. Preferred experience with PAW and PAM platforms and/or implementing PAW in hybrid environments.

Qualifications
24. A recognised formal security qualification in security such as CISSP, CISM, or have equivalent experience such as 5+ years in a security role would be desirable
