Overview
We are looking for hard working, reliable and flexible individuals to work as a member of the Facilities Team. This role involves a wide range of Portering duties within a 24/7/365 service, including patient-facing tasks and other duties.
Responsibilities
* Carry out a wide range of Portering duties as part of a 24/7/365 service, including patient-facing tasks and other duties.
* Sort, deliver and collect mail in the post room; assist with transfer of patients; move equipment and furniture; handle linen, medical records and drugs.
* Work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working hours.
* Full training will be provided.
Requirements
* Full driving licence essential, including driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
* Ability to work as part of a team, initiative, awareness and good customer service skills.
* Flexible approach to hours and shifts; readiness to work on a set pattern (Mondays and Fridays) with occasional bank holidays on a roster.
Work pattern and enhancements
Enhancements are paid for lates, weekends, nights and bank holidays. The position is on a set pattern of working Mondays and Fridays (with occasional bank holidays on a set roster).
