Description The eCommerce Total Platform team are on the lookout for an eCommerce Business Manager to join and be at the forefront of our partner brand’s growth. Total Platform at NEXT is an exciting new business-to-business online service that offers brands a full solution for eCommerce, including website, warehousing, logistics, customer care, marketing and customer data management. We let brands focus on their product and creative, and we drive their new online business forward including innovations, sales, operations and technology developments. The role As the eCommerce Business Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our external Total Platform clients, ensuring seamless service delivery across all aspects of eCommerce operations. You’ll handle client communications, resolve issues, manage escalations and foster a proactive, customer first environment. Your impact will be clear-measured by the success and sales performance of our clients’ websites. What else is involved? Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, senior level relationships with brand partners, acting as a trusted advisor to drive long-term success. Confidently challenge and influence client decisions to maximise site performance and profit. Client-First Culture: Champion a culture that prioritises client needs across all activities, ensuring a high standard of service and partnership. Team Leadership: Manage and develop your team through regular coaching and performance reviews. Trading Strategy: Leverage insights into trading calendars and customer behaviours to shape data-driven trading strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and revenue. P&L Ownership: Monitor and analyse the P&L to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved efficiency, and increased profitability while maintaining service quality. Innovation & Optimisation: Drive continuous improvement by translating ideas into practical solutions. Advocate for new digital functionalities and enhancements to improve site experience and sales performance across regions and third-party platforms. Customer Acquisition & Growth: Collaborate with digital and marketing teams through matrix managment to deliver strategies that grow the customer base, increase sign-up and conversion rates and drive customer growth. Customer Retention: Support the development and execution of retention strategies, including CRM initiatives and first-to-second purchase improvements, enhancing customer lifetime value. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across product, marketing, trading and tech to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and alignment on priorities. Leadership Support: Lead key meetings and client reviews, deputising for the Portfolio Manager when needed and supporting broader leadership objectives. Market & Competitor Insight: Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to identify trends, risks and new opportunities to maintain brand competitiveness. Customer Feedback Integration: Establish and maintain feedback loops, using insights to refine strategy, improve customer experience, and inform ongoing improvements.
