Job Description:
Are you a skilled care worker ready to step into a leadership role? We are hiring a Senior Residential Support Worker to lead and support our team in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care to young people. As an SRSW, you will play a key role in shaping a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring adherence to the Children's Homes Regulations, and mentoring other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
* Mentor less experienced staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
* Manage care plans and risk assessments, adapting them as needed.
* Act as a role model and lead on key-working responsibilities for children in the home.
Requirements:
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care with plans to complete Level 5.
* 2+ years of experience in a children's residential setting.
* Strong leadership skills and experience supervising staff.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
