Your duties as an Automotive Workshop Administrator will include:
17. Creating and managing job cards to support workshop operations
18. Building strong working relationships with technicians and workshop staff
19. Processing defect reports, technician time clockings, parts issues, and invoicing
20. Handling retail invoicing to end customer accounts, including fleet clients
21. Assisting with warranty and service contract invoicing and claim processing (training provided)
22. Consolidating weekly out-of-contract costs for fleet management
23. Managing general administration tasks and supporting the service team
24. Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice queries and ensure cost-effective quotes
25. Chasing outstanding purchase orders and approving associated invoices
26. Acting as the main point of contact for customer enquiries within the admin team
Candidate profile for the Automotive Workshop Administrator position:
27. Strong computer literacy with experience in dealership management systems (desirable but not essential)
28. Experience in commercial administration, invoicing, or customer service within a fast-paced environment
29. Excellent communication skills at all levels, from technicians to customers and suppliers
30. High attention to detail in processing invoices and creating job cards
31. Organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
32. Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude
33. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively
34. Customer-focused approach and professional manner
