Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Logistics, located in Norwich. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including supply chain management, inventory control, warehouse operations, and procurement. They will develop and implement streamlined logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency, optimise inventory levels, coordinate warehouse activities, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. They will also lead and manage a team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies while driving process improvements.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management
* Strong skills in Inventory Management and Warehouse Operations
* Proficiency in Procurement processes and strategies
* Leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Experience in high-volume distribution or mail order logistics is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred
