Overview
Fleetwood High School is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Learning Support Mentor to join our Student Support Team. The successful candidate will be required to support students with their learning, personal development, social and communication skills and their emotional and mental health & wellbeing. Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with experience of working with students with social, emotional and communication needs.
Responsibilities
* Support students with their learning and personal development.
* Support social and communication skills and emotional and mental health & wellbeing of students.
Qualifications
* Essential: NVQ level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent). In exceptional circumstances, where local circumstances dictate, qualifications may be viewed as desirable.
* Essential: Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
* Essential Experience: Experience of working with children and in a relevant classroom/service environment; experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
* Desirable Experience: Experience of Administrative work.

* Location: Fleetwood High School, Broadway, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 8HE
* Hours: 37 hours per week. Part-time term-time only note that the salary quoted is full-time equivalent; salary pro rata if applicable.
* Salary: £27,269 to £31,067 FTE; pro rata £23,665 to £27,699
* Term: Full-time
