Overview
We are seeking a well-qualified and committed Teacher of Business Studies at St Mary’s Catholic High School. The successful candidate will challenge and encourage students to achieve their potential, think creatively, and engage learners. St Mary’s is a good school that is rapidly improving and seeks highly motivated and inspirational individuals who are committed to ensuring every child and adult within our community has the self-belief to flourish.
The Business Department is successful and popular within St Mary’s, with increasing uptake in student numbers. We offer A Level Business, Level 3 Business (CTEC), and GCSE Business Studies. The successful candidate will have energy and enthusiasm to meet the demands of a thriving department that encourages students to study beyond the curriculum and engage in co-curricular activities offered by the department. Governors are committed to appointing the best possible candidate and welcome applications from both experienced and recently qualified teachers, as well as those with a school or FE background. The ability to offer a second subject would be beneficial. The successful candidate will actively support our ethos and bring professionalism and academic credibility, balanced with warmth and sensitivity.
