Overview
Site Co-Ordinator in a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team. Responsibilities include a mixture of Admin work and Cleaning. Permanent contract; 40 hrs per week. Salary: £13.10 per hour. Shift: 8.00 am to 4.00 pm; 5 on / 2 off. You will report to the Site Manager & Regional Account Manager and may attend weekly/monthly meetings or conference calls as required.
Responsibilities
* Administration: assist managing all administration processes related to the Contract; update internal and external databases and administration systems; accurately file manually and electronically per business policy and procedures; manage reports and supporting contract documentation; assist in preparation for client meetings; maintain a flexible approach to business support to meet deadlines; attend meetings as required.
* Health & Safety: react quickly to client call-outs and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (training provided).
* Client relationships: provide support to ensure client expectations are met and deadlines are achieved; maintain discretion with confidential information.
* Quality and compliance: ensure operational paperwork is to corporate standards; complete required checks (e.g., Basic DBS).
Cleaning duties
* General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens.
* Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products; ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
* Respond to client call-outs as needed and manage waste disposal in line with policies.
Qualifications
* Administration experience essential.
* A knowledge of facilities management sectors is desirable.
* Relevant experience with Microsoft packages; good working knowledge of Excel.
* Excellent data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
* Flexible approach to working; ability to manage own time and prioritise workload; excellent time-keeping and organisational skills.
* Relationship-building skills; proactive, self-starter who can work well within a team; able to support and guide team members as required.
* Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements to achieve more effective working practices.
* Discretion in dealing with confidential information; customer care oriented; able to deliver results and exceed customer expectations; well-presented, professional appearance and attitude; excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* DBS basic disclosure and drug/alcohol screening test may be required.
