Airport Transfers Banbury a family run local business are looking for someone to join our team on a part time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Ensure timely communication with the customer using our online app communication tool to keep customer updated with travel schedule.
* Arrive at the designated pick up point ahead of time, ready to serve the customer.
* Assist customers with loading of luggage into the vehicle.
* Driving safely and considerately to deliver the customer to the required destination on time.
* Assist with the unloading of luggage from the vehicle
* Track inbound flights using online app to ensure arrival at the airport at the appropriate time.
* Delivering excellent customer service, going into the airport arrivals hall to personally greet the customer, assist them with their luggage and escort them to the vehicle.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of journeys including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
* Previous experience as an airport transfer driver or taxi driver would be a benefit, but is not a requirement. However, because of the nature of the job you should enjoy driving.
* Equally important (if not more so) is a mature, professional attitude mixed with a pleasant and friendly demeanour to ensure the customer always has a positive experience in the car. You should also have the desire to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers is essential, both face to face (in car) and in writing via mobile communications apps.
* The role may be ideal for someone who has previously been working in a professional and / or customer facing role and is looking to do something different and a fresh challenge, or even just earn some extra income.
Requirements
* A full, UK driving licence is required, with no outstanding points / endorsements would be preferred
* General ability to drive safely and to meet UK law.
* Must have the ability to work independently whilst out on the road as well as part of a team to ensure delivery of outstanding customer service.
* You will need to be licensed to operate as a private hire driver. If you're not already licensed, for the right candidate, financial assistance can be given to get you licensed.
* You will need to submit to a DVLA and Enhanced DBS check.
* Company car and fuel card provided
Working Hours
There are no set working hours, so the flexibility is there to fit around your personal life You can choose when and how often you drive.
However, because of the nature of most flights and events, there is an expectation that you will be willing to work unsocial hours i.e late nights and early hours of the morning.
Earnings
The role presents the opportunity to earn between approximately £250 and up to £400 per week and will vary on a job by job basis.
Training
full training, support and guidance would be given to the right candidate.
