As Head RDS Insurance Sales UK & Ireland, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our Solutions business in Insurance and Public Sector market segments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deepen relationships with existing clients and develop new revenue streams, particularly with non-clients and in adjacent segments. This role is key to expanding our fee-based income and supporting the growth of our core RDS Insurance Solutions offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales of RDS Insurance Solutions products, consulting services and analytics projects for the United Kingdom & Ireland markets.
2. Lead a team of sales and customer success professionals creating a high performing team to successfully achieve annual plan ambitions aligned to global standards
3. Own the regional Market Unit relationships and partner with the MU heads to execute the RDS Insurance regional plan
4. Establish annual business plan and derive individual sales targets for yourself and your team members
5. Deliver regional and individual fee-based revenue targets in alignment with annual business planning
6. Execute the implementation of the go-to-market strategy across United Kingdom & Ireland.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
8. Conduct thorough clients' needs analysis to identify new opportunities and identify and prospect potential clients and leads through various channels.
9. Manage a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads.
10. Present compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations to articulate value propositions.
11. Lead negotiations and close deals to meet/exceed sales objectives.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance outreach and business development strategies.
13. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
14. Maintain a solid understanding of Swiss Re's IP assets and technologies, products, and consulting capabilities.
15. Provide structured feedback to product and delivery teams to inform development and commercial improvements.
16. Keep accurate records in the CRM system and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

About you
17. At least 15 years of experience in sales and leading teams, preferably within financial, consulting, or technology services
18. Deep knowledge of the P&C insurance industry across underwriting, claims, risk management, and technology
19. Strong existing network within the P&C sector and a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets
20. Exceptional prospecting and lead-generation skills
21. Skilled communicator with a consultative, client-first approach and ability to translate customer needs into solutions that address them
22. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers
23. Motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented
24. Comfortable making independent decisions while aligning with broader business objectives

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.
The base salary range for this position is between £144,000 and £216,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
