Location: Woking (GU21 6DJ) - Minimum of 4 days a week in the office
Note: Woking is 25-minutes by train from London Waterloo, with up to six fast trains an hour.

Tresta is a start-up specialist lender in the Buy-to-let mortgage market looking for an aspiring Product Manager / Business Analyst to support out ambitious plans. This is a high impact role which will support Tresta’s rapid growth. You will also experience personal skill and knowledge development by working directly with experienced colleagues in technology, sales, and operations. The role will test your depth and breadth of capability while opening a range of career possibilities.
Recent STEM, or equally quantitative, graduates up to a maximum of 2 years’ experience with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, relevant work experience and/or project work are encouraged to apply. The right candidate will be able to shape the role to fit long term career ambitions.

Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role has four primary purposes
* Support the technology environment for a startup mortgage specialist in the buy-to-let (property investment) market by working across all business functions to ensure Tresta products, processes and rules are defined / configured in the operating system,
* “First line” role responsible for resolving user issues within expected timescales
* Leveraging your experience to promote, document and act on a product roadmap with the goal of defining technology product changes that deliver improved customer and user outcomes.
* Using internal and external technological, operational and market analysis to support management with actionable information and insight.
Main Responsibilities
* Take ownership of design and implementation of system changes through maintenance of configuration files, system rules and user feedback
* Analysing customer and user experience to develop a product roadmap
* Work closely with integrated 3rd party technology providers to ensure the effective running of Tresta’s technology and align product roadmap plans
* Manage incident management, root cause analysis and leverage that to contribute to the product roadmap.
* Support development of systems and processes as the company scales by combining management information, market data, analytics, modelling and strategic thinking into product strategy
* Support the development and implementation of an analytical framework to manage business performance through data driven insight that supports understanding of the business drivers.
* Help drive efficiencies through the introduction of AI. Helping to build capabilities while understanding limitations.
* Contribute to strategic priorities and translation of the strategy into executable plans to deliver good customer and operations outcomes.
Required Skills/Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree in STEM or Finance/Economics/Accounting. (Note that we will not support applicants who aspire to obtain accountancy qualifications)
* 0-2 years of experience in a technical, product, data/business analyst, or related role.
* Ability to understand and articulate technical constraints.
* Comfortable with data and presenting it to others with recommendations for change
* Ownership mentality and ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
* Stakeholder credibility: Ability to shape decisions and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
* Leadership potential: Track record of working with high performing teams, building accountability and role modelling inclusive leadership behaviours.
* Strong attention to detail.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
* Masters
* Associate Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Financial Analyst similar.
* Familiarity with software development life cycle, APIs and AI.
