Investment Analyst
This role will include involvement across various areas of the investment function, including research, record keeping, trading and operations. The core focus will be on supporting investment research and asset allocation routines, procedures, projects and meetings. There will also be a remit to help build out process automation through the use of AI and other tools.

What you’ll do:
Investment research
1. Administration around investment workgroup meetings - meeting notes and action points (via AI or otherwise)
2. Participating in fund manager meetings, conferences etc. and ensuring the wider team are updated
3. Conducting investment research independently and as directed by senior investment colleagues
Record keeping and organisation
4. Update and maintain asset allocation records, meeting logs and other key investment files
5. Responsibility for the preparation and distribution of weekly performance data for review meetings
6. Collating, summarising (via AI or otherwise) and distributing investment workgroup notes, action points and scorecards
7. Summarising key weekly investment research notes, trading activity, etc.
8. Involvement in client reporting routines
Operations and trading interaction
9. Supporting trading activity
10. Further assisting the trading and operations functions as appropriate
General
11. Working with AI and other tools to automate and streamline team activities
What you’ll need to succeed:
12. A keen interest in financial markets and/or investing
13. Strong analytical and/or numerical skills and aptitude
14. A solid aptitude for utilising new technology, including AI tools
15. Strong organisational abilities and a good work ethic
16. A proactive ‘self-starter’ with initiative and adaptability
17. Proficiency across the suite of MS Office products, in particular Excel
18. Hold a level 4 investment qualification, or be ready to embark on study to achieve
