Role: HR Advisor
Type: Part Time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £45,000 P/A (£29,000 pro-rata for 25 hours per week)
Hours: Mon - Fri: 9:00am – 14:00pm, flexible working hours
Location: Slough
Are you an experienced HR Advisor, looking for a part time position? I’m currently recruiting for a leading Engineering company based in Slough. My client is looking for a HR Advisor on a full time, permanent basis due to growth in the company.
Responsibilities
* Act as the standalone HR advisor, helping managers handle complicated situations like performance issues, absences, grievances, etc.
* Manage recruitment and onboarding, ensuring new starters have a smooth experience and processes are fair and compliant.
* Maintain and update HR policies, run training sessions, and ensure the company stays on top of employment law.
* Drive HR initiatives like performance management, wellbeing, and inclusion, while keeping accurate records.
Essential Skills & Experience
* CIPD at minimum Level 5
* Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work independently, under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint
* Competence in using HR Systems
