Property Compliance Manager
37 hours per week, based in Preston
£47,473.39 per annum
As our Property Compliance Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring CGA meets all its statutory obligations in relation to property compliance. From overseeing the 'big six' compliance areas (fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, lifts and water) to ensuring performance is effectively monitored and reported through to Board level, your work will safeguard our homes and keep our tenants safe.
You'll lead a small team of Compliance Officers, develop robust systems and procedures, and provide expert guidance across CGA. This is a key role within the Asset Management Team and contributes directly to our strategic decision-making and long-term goals.
What we are looking for:
1. Solid experience managing property compliance, health and safety risks, and those all-important “big six” (fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, lifts, and water), whilst keeping tenants at the heart of it all
2. A knack for turning data into insight and action — and not just colourful spreadsheets
3. Proven leadership skills — you can motivate a team, manage contractors, and meet deadlines
4. A clear understanding of housing safety legislation - bonus points if names like HHSRS, CDM 2015, or the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order don't make you blink
