As Head of MFL you will lead by example, develop, inspire and motivate your team and be committed to achieving high standards. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, demonstrates a positive attitude, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
As Head of Department, you will develop comprehensive programmes of study, creating resources, designing schemes of work, and implementing effective assessment and teaching strategies, to ensure relevance to the needs of pupils, examining and awarding bodies and the Academy’s Aims and Development Plan objectives.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example as Head of MFL and drive high standards across the department.
* Develop, inspire and motivate the MFL team; embrace new ideas and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
* Design, implement and evaluate comprehensive programmes of study, resources, schemes of work, assessment and teaching strategies.
* Ensure curricular relevance to pupils, awarding bodies and the Academy’s Aims and Development Plan objectives.
* Collaborate with staff to monitor and raise attainment and consistency of quality teaching.
