Make an Impact at RSM UK Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue. At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path. As an Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate management accounts, adding value wherever possible and ensuring client deadlines and expectations are met or exceeded. You’ll make an impact by: Scheduling, supervising, and reviewing work of assistants and senior assistants to ensure appropriate standards are met, providing feedback and development objectives Conducting an analytical review of the P&L, variance analysis and appropriate commentary Taking responsibility for all balance sheet and payroll reconciliations VAT returns preparation for reviews by the Authorised Individual Being responsible for the preparation and completion of all relevant Citadel details with Admin team What we are looking for: We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: Qualified or part qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems e.g. SAP, Netsuite, Great Plains Ability to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively Good written, telephonic and verbal communication skills Effective use of IT, including Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel Ability to think logically and demonstrate problem solving skills Proactively assist team members on other clients at crucial times in reporting What we can offer you: We recognise that our people are our most important assets.
