Engineering Manager
Overstone - Northampton
£60,000 – £70,000

Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities on-site
* Leading and developing a skilled team of engineers and technicians across shifts
* Managing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
* Ensuring maximum uptime of production machinery including Casemakers, Die Cutters, Printers, and Gluers
* Negotiate service contracts.
* Manage the departmental budget and look at cost saving opportunities
* Driving continuous improvement projects and supporting CAPEX investments
* Collaborating with production, quality, and safety teams to meet operational goals
* Ensuring full compliance with H&S, regulatory standards, and company procedures
Essential:
* Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Lead Engineer role
* Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment
* Understanding of packaging/food machinery or similar high-speed production equipment
* Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or above ideally HND.
* Strong leadership skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
