Planner
Location: Rugby
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and planning consultancy in their search for a Planner to join their team in Rugby.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional to join a respected practice with a long-standing presence in the Midlands, working across a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, rural, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
You will be joining a collaborative planning team with the chance to gain exposure to a broad range of planning work, develop client-facing skills, and play an active role in the delivery of projects from initial appraisal through to determination.
The Role
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Supporting senior staff on a variety of planning projects
Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
Assisting with the preparation of planning statements and reports
Monitoring planning policy and legislative changes
Requirements
RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or related subject
Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
MRTPI or working towards Chartership (desirable)
