Health & Safety is everyone's responsibility on site, supported by dedicated professionals who ensure compliance and strive to exceed global standards. What You Will Do As a Safety Specialist, you'll be supported by a friendly and professional team to gain a thorough understanding of site operations, from organizational structure to manufacturing processes. You'll report to the site Health Safety and Risk Manager and be the go-to person for all colleagues regarding H&S topics on site. Key Responsibilities: * Role Model for Safety: Communicate the Safety Critical Business Needs (CBN) and objectives to the plant. * Intellectual Curiosity: Show willingness to develop and actively participate in Daily Operations Meetings (DOMs). * Safety Audits/BOS: Conduct safety audits and Behavior Observation System (BOS) assessments. * Witness CIL and Maintenance: Observe Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL) and maintenance on the lines. * Investigations: Lead near misses and Lost Time Accident (LTA) investigations. * Coaching: Provide on-the-job coaching for Method Statement Risk Assessment (MSRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Behavior Observation System (BOS), and Integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental (IHBE) practices. * Best Practices: Implement road maps and support the reapplication of best practices. * Working Sessions: Lead sessions on machine safety risk assessment, isolation of hazardous energy, ladders-steps-stairs. * Reapplication: Lead reapplication through the plants network and create an environment where health checks ensure sustainability of results, using internal and external benchmarks to drive performance improvement. Who You Are Your application should showcase your experience in a production environment working within health and safety. Demonstrate the impact of your involvement in H&S projects and day-to-day activities.
