Job Title: Weekend Tennis Tots Coach

About Us
We're a small, friendly tennis business on a mission to spark a love for tennis in children from the very start. Our Tennis Tots sessions are playful, imaginative, and full of energy – with parents joining in the fun alongside their little ones. We're now expanding into older age groups too, so it's an exciting time to join our growing team
The Role
We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and energetic coach to run our weekend Tennis Tots and Tennis Titans classes. This is the perfect role if you love working with young children and have the patience, humour, and creativity to make every session fun and engaging.
What You'll Do
Run exciting, age-appropriate tennis activities for toddlers and young children using our tried-and-tested lesson plans
Bring sessions to life with stories, songs, and imaginative play – all while teaching the building blocks of tennis
Work closely with parents, guiding them on how to join in and help their child succeed
Create a safe, positive environment where every child feels included and encouraged
Team up with at least one assistant to keep sessions running smoothly
Training & Support
Start as an assistant coach to get hands-on experience before leading your own group
Full lesson plans provided – you just bring the energy
Ongoing support, training, and opportunities to grow with us
What We're Looking For
Experience working with young children (sports, teaching, childcare, or similar)
A fun, lively personality with great voice projection and group management skills
Ability to work well with others, including assistant coaches
Ideally an LTA or equivalent sports coaching qualification (but not essential)
Must be able to travel ideally by car or public transport
Pay Rates
Lead coach rate: £20/hr (once you're ready to lead a group of around 10 children + parents)
Assistant rates/ camps rates:
Under 16: £8/hr
16–18: £10/hr
18–21: £11.66/hr
21+: £13.66/hr
