Job Title: Senior Traffic Analyst / Transport PlannerLocation: Clifton, BristolSalary: c.£35,000 - £50,000 (DOE)Reference: 104928A well-established transport planning and highway consultancy based in Bristol, working with a wide range of public and private sector clients across the UK. We provide expert transport planning, traffic analysis and highway design advice on projects of all scales - from early feasibility and planning support through to detailed design and implementation.Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Traffic Analyst / Transport Planner.The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and technically strong Traffic Analyst to play a key role within our transport planning team. You will take responsibility for delivering traffic and junction modelling work, supporting planning applications, and contributing to the technical direction of projects.Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing traffic generation, distribution and assignment assessmentsForecasting future traffic flows at junction and network levelUndertaking junction capacity assessments using PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG and ideally TRANSYTSupporting and, where appropriate, leading work using SATURN and VISSIMInterpreting and presenting modelling results clearly within Transport Assessments, Technical Notes and client reportsWorking closely with Transport Planners and Highway Design Engineers to deliver integrated solutionsProviding technical input to junior staff and supporting their developmentEngaging with clients, local authorities and project teams as required About YouWe are looking for someone who can bring experience, confidence and technical credibility to the role.
