Job Role
7. Culinary Vision: Lead the development of high-quality, seasonal menus that enhance the venue’s standing as a premier destination on the Maldon outskirts.
8. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a professional kitchen brigade, ensuring high morale and consistent excellence.
9. Financial Oversight: Total accountability including managing food costs (GP), labor budgets, and operational overheads.
10. Operational Excellence: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety, HACCP, and food hygiene standards, ensuring the kitchen operates at a 5-star level.
11. Local Sourcing: Leverage the venue’s location to build relationships with local Essex producers and suppliers.
Your Skills and Experience
12. Proven Experience: Background as an Executive or Head Chef in a quality-driven, high-volume environment.
13. Strategic Mindset: Ability to manage the “big picture” of kitchen operations while maintaining an eye for plating and detail.
14. Reliability: Must have a driving licence and a reliable vehicle to commute to the outskirts of town.
15. Experience managing weddings and multisites
16. 3 Years Executive Chef experience
17. Personal alcohol licence desirable
