Accountant (EMEA)

Are you a qualified accountant who enjoys owning the numbers, influencing decisions, and bringing clarity to a complex, fast-moving business?
RFMW UK Ltd is a global distributor of RF and microwave electronic components, working with leading suppliers to deliver high-performance technologies to customers worldwide. We’re now looking for a commercially minded Accountant to take ownership of month-end reporting and operational finance across our EMEA entities.
The Role
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director (EMEA), you will own the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, while strengthening controls and supporting confident commercial decision-making.
You Will
* Lead the month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and supplier accounts.
* Support statutory accounts, audit, and corporation tax, acting as a key contact for auditors and external advisors.
* Ensure Intrastat and statistical compliance, maintaining accurate customs data.
* Monitor cash flow and working capital, partnering with budget holders to improve financial understanding and accountability.
* Develop and report on financial and non-financial KPIs, providing ad hoc analysis to drive operational and commercial improvement.
* Play a key role in budget preparation and financial planning.
* Liaise with payroll providers and collaborate with Sales leadership on quarterly incentive payments.
About You
You will be ACCA / ACMA qualified (or equivalent) with:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
* Strong experience working with multiple currencies.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong technical accounting capability.
* The confidence to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* A structured, resilient approach in a deadline-driven environment.
Experience in electronics or distribution, Sage Intacct, German GAAP, or US GAAP is advantageous but not essential.
The role includes occasional travel in the region.
