The opportunity

Develop your leadership and management ability as you work in cross-functional teams across our Consulting, People and Technology practices. Build out your technical and sector knowledge by working alongside our clients in project teams. Work with cutting-edge technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Internet Of Things (IOT) and Blockchain; as well as leading procurement (Source to Pay) technology.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll balance internal and external responsibilities, comprising client, business development support, operational and personal development.
Responsibilities
* Build, maintain and strengthen relationships and be a trusted advisor in at least one area of supply chain (operations, planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc.).
* Contribute/lead a workstream within a project and manage activity to complete deliverables within your remit.
* Contribute as an active member of a core project team, often working with others from EY’s global network.
Support our business
* Contribute to the development of proposals to showcase leading practices.
* Engage the market with thought leadership and public profile, and contribute to enhancing our methodologies.
* Collaborate with internal sector and account teams to develop your network, applying our commercial and procurement expertise.
Support operational excellence
* Support successful delivery of projects by managing your work products to time and budget.
* Help ensure the quality of our delivery exceeds client expectations by effectively managing activities within your remit.
Personal and people development
* Maintain a personal development program to continually enhance your technical and consulting skills.
* Develop your people leadership experience by leading as part of client and internal teams.
Your Experience
Typically, Senior Consultants bring practical experience from either a professional services or industry background where you have developed your commercial and procurement experience. Your Commercial and Procurement experience will be valued across several sectors, with a focus on Consumer Products & Retail, Energy & Resources, Government & Infrastructure, Health & Life Sciences, Private & National and Telecommunication, Media & Entertainment.
Senior Consultants are expected to have experience in at least one technical skill below and exposure across others:
* Supply Chain Strategy
* Supply Chain Transformation
* Digital Supply Chain
* Supply Chain Analytics
* Supply Chain Planning Functional
* Supply Chain Planning with Technology (OMP, Kinaxis, o9, Aera, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, SAP S/4HANA)
* Logistics
* Manufacturing
* Procurement
* Service and Asset Management Transformation
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proactive, energetic, self-starters with innovative qualities. Professional body membership or qualifications such as CIPS or IACCM are a plus, but not required if you demonstrate relevant additive skills.
