Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant - Term Time
Salary: £26,000 (pro-rata)
Reports to: SEND Manager
Job Purpose:
Due to the continued growth and ongoing success of Skills Group's SEND Provision, we are seeking to appoint a term-time SEND Learning Support Assistant to support our expanding provision for post-16 learners.

The Role
As a SEND Support Assistant, you will:
* Work collaboratively with class trainers to plan and deliver appropriate on- and off-site activities, maintaining high standards of education and training.
* Prepare and adapt learning resources across multiple sites as required.
* Provide tailored support to learners in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
* Support learners with personal development and preparation for adulthood activities.
* Review and update Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and record progress against agreed targets.
* Deliver targeted support outside the classroom, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date records using electronic systems.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development in line with the company's staff development programme.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum requirement).
* Previous experience supporting learners with SEND.
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Good understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
* Full, valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (travel between sites required).
Desirable:
* Additional qualifications or specialist training in specific SEND areas.
* Experience working within post-16 or further education settings.
