As a Garage Lift Equipment Breakdown Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of garage lifting equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety and compliance.
You will play a key role in representing the business on-site, delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will work independently in the field while also collaborating closely with the wider service and technical teams.
Location: Norwich and Surrounding Areas Salary: Up to £36,000 (Experience Dependent) Bonus Scheme and Overtime Available Key Responsibilities: Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns on garage lifting equipment.
Carry out fault finding on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Complete planned and reactive maintenance on a range of garage lifts.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
Accurately complete service reports, documentation, and job records.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, findings, and recommendations.
Identify additional repair or replacement requirements and feedback to the service team.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to a high standard.
Provide technical support and advice when required.
Other duties as required by the business.
Qualifications & Requirements: Previous experience working with garage lifting equipment is essential.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
Full UK driving license Ability to work independently.
