Softcat is a leading technology Value-Added Reseller (VAR), currently ranked as the #1 IT Reseller in the United Kingdom. Following its incredible success in the European market, Softcat is looking to develop its presence and capabilities in the US.

Support Softcat's Multinational Drive

As a Vendor Alliance Associate, you will support vendor engagement, onboarding, and partnership activities to strengthen Softcat's position within the US and Canadian market. This role plays a key part in maintaining vendor relationships, tracking program performance, and coordinating key initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Your responsibilities

* Support vendor onboarding, engagement, and framework alignment, including ad-hoc requests and Marketplace ISVs (Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Coordinate vendor initiatives such as sales enablement sessions, office visits, events, and go-to-market campaigns.
* Track and report against Vendor Joint Business Plans (JBPs), rebate programs, MDF, and incentive schemes to drive performance.
* Create and maintain resources such as the US Vendor Handbook, sales playbooks, and vendor updates (EOL, EOS, pricing/promotions).
* Provide first-line support for vendor issues, escalations, and pipeline management to guide internal and external opportunities.
* Collaborate with UK Alliances and internal teams (Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, Architecture, Operations, Legal) to improve processes and share best practices.

We'd love you to have

* Experience in vendor management, sales operations, or alliances within the IT industry.
* Understanding of vendor frameworks, GTM strategies, and sales enablement processes.
* Strong coordination and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, track vendor performance, and support sales teams effectively.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting vendor performance.
